Master Sergeant McAdams was killed aboard
U.S. Air Force KB-29P Superfortress
#44-84149. Perished in collision with the
Talkeetna mountain range, about fifty miles
northeast of Anchorage, Alaska, shortly after
departing Elmendorf Air Force Base.
All eight service members aboard were killed
when the aerial refueling tanker struck Bald
Mountain at the 4,200-foot level.
The aircraft was based with the 508th Aerial
Refueling Squadron at Turner Air Force Base,
Albany, Georgia.

Reported as a resident of Braddock, Pa., age 32.
