Ronald L. Caldwell, age 72, of North Carpenter Avenue, Orange City died November 18, 2012 at Orange City Nursing and Rehab in DeBary, Florida.

Mr. Caldwell was born on November 29, 1939 in Hancock, Maryland, the son of Lee and Velma Daniels Caldwell. He was united in marriage to Virginia Sue Pickenton. He was an electrician for a manufacturing company prior to his retirement. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Sue; a son, Lonnie Caldwell; a daughter, Daphne Caldwell; five grandchildren and 4 1/2 great-grand-children; his mother, Velma Pettingill and a brother, Glen Caldwell.

Friends may call on Friday, November 23rd from 10 am till noon at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1345 South Aquarius Avenue, DeLand. Funeral services will be held at noon at the church with Bishop Alen Hunter officiating. Entombment will immediately follow at Deltona Memorial Gardens in Orange City, Florida with full military honors by the U.S. Air Force Honors Team and the V.F.W. Post # 8093 of DeBary.
