Tony Simmons 53 of Joplin passed away at 3;46 a.m. Sunday November 25, 2012 at his residence after a sudden illness.
Tony was born February 23, 1959 in Kansas City Kansas and had lived in the Joplin area for 21years.
He worked as a tunnel foreman for Princess Carwash in Kansas City for several years.
Tony married Vera Melton on February 23, 1989 in Kansas City Kansas, she survives of the home.
Additional survivors include his children, Amanda Pulce, Crowley Texas. Arlene Wesley Kansas City Kansas, Marilyn Bradley San Antonio Texas, Diamond Bradley Joplin, his brother and sister Rodney and Michelle , grandchildren, Elijah Weathers, Orion Scarobrough, Aliza Bradley, Makayla Gilstra, Dominique Bradley, Daunte Bradley, Gabriel Gray, Tionna Wesley, Treeman Wesley and several other extended family members.
Memorial services are planned for Wednesday at 2p.m. at Parker Mortuary, The family will receive friends folloeing the service. at the mortuary.
