Daughter of Thomas Stone Beard and Lena Julan Gatlin.

Little Romine Beard, aged 16 months, passed away Tuesday, September 26, following an illness of four days of colitis. Surviving are her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Beard; two brothers, Junior and Glyndoyle, and one sister, Frances. Funeral service was conducted by Rev. Hugh Mitchell of Shiloh Church. Burial at Shiloh Cemetery.

CARD OF THANKS -- We wish to thank each and every one for the kindness shown us during the illness and death of our darling baby and especially to Dr. Bryant, who worked faithfully trying to save her. We also thank those that brought flowers. We kindly thank Mr. Natt Smith, Mr. Ambrose McKnight, Mr. Joe Whitaker, and Mrs. Edd Ray in rendering service. -- From Mrs. Lena Beard and Family.
