Drew Fredieu, 50, and his son Fred, 21, were killed instantly a mile south of Woodville on US Hwy. 69 about 1:30 p.m. Saturday. According to highway patrolmen, the truck the men were riding in struck a large pine tree just off the shoulder of the highway.
They had been hauling railroad ties but the truck was empty at the time of the accident.
