Miss Bernadine Reinkober, 57, formerly of Chilton, died early Friday morning at the Riverview Sanatorium, Kaukauna, where she was employed. Her death followed a brief illness.

She was born Aug. 26, 1917 in Chilton, daughter of the late John and Bertha Boll Reinkober. She attended St. Mary’s parochial school and was graduated from Chilton High School in 1935 and from St. Agnes School of Nursing in Fond du Lac in 1938. She also attended Marquette University.

Miss Reinkober worked two years for the Milwaukee Health Department and with the Outagamie County Health Department for one year. She had been employed as a registered nurse at the Riverview Sanatorium for the past 24 years.
She was a member of the Mission Society of St. Mary’s church, Chilton, the Wisconsin Nurses Association, and the St. Agnes Alumni Association.

She served as a nurse overseas from 1945 to 1947.

Survivors include two brothers, Vincent G., and John, both of Chilton, and a sister, Mrs. C.J. O’Donnell of Chilton.

The funeral Mass was at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Chilton, with the Rev. James Vennix, pastor, as celebrant. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
