Janet Davis Galloway died Saturday, Sept. 28, 1996, at her residence. Mrs. Galloway, 72, resided at 15 Troon Way. The funeral will be held Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. William Johnston officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens, Langley. Survivors include her widower, Leon Galloway; a son, Kirk Galloway, North Augusta; and a daughter, Linda Galloway, Wilmington, N.C. The family will receive friends Monday at George Funeral Home, Park Avenue.

Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens, Langley. Mrs. Galloway, 72, of 15 Troon Way Aiken, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 1996, at her residence. A native of Wilmington, Del., Mrs. Galloway was a daughter of the late Col. John W. and Mary Kirk Davis. She was a retired secretary with Du Pont. She received a certificate of merit from the War Department from Secretary of War Stimson for work on the Manhattan Project. She was also retired from The circulation department of the Aiken Standard.
