Walter was married to Sylvia Hustad for 53 years. Together they raised three children: Judith, JoAnn, and John. Sylvia passed away in 2000.
Walter's eternal journey has begun. He has always been and always will be a Christian walking with Christ.
His loving family includes: three children, Judith (Alan) Walter, Minot, JoAnn (Don) Helland, Fargo, ND, and John (Laverne) Whitaker, Hazen; seven grandchildren;17 great-grandchildren;
sister, Pearl Lindstrom, Minneapolis, MN; sister-in-law, Myrtle Hustad, Jamestown, ND;
and numerous nieces and nephews.
Walter was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 53 years, Sylvia; and brothers and sisters.
