Thomas Edward Burleson, age 79 died Saturday morning, November 24, 2012 in the San Augustine Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Burleson was born in Rusk County to Thomas Rufus and Corene Layfield Burleson.
He moved to San Augustine fifteen years ago from Orange, Texas. He was a retired ABA Missionary Baptist Minister and supervisor in the chemical industry.
Thomas is survived by his wife Shirley Jo Smith Burleson of San Augustine and his brother Cecil Kerbo of Amarillo, Texas.
Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2pm Tuesday, November 27, 2012 in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas.
Burial will follow in the Myrtle Springs Cemetery, Geneva, Texas.
