Jessamine, first, married James B Stone 06 December, 1860 in Red River County, Texas. They had two sons, William Richard Stone and James S B Stone, Jr. James Sr., part of the 34th Regiment Texas Cavalry (aka the 2nd Regiment Texas Partisan Rangers and Alexander's Regiment Texas Cavalry) during the Civil War, was killed in action during the Battle of Pleasant Hill, Louisiana, on 09 April, 1864.
On 19 June, 1867, Jessamine married, again, to James Monroe Blair, Jr. Jim Blair was connected with Jessamine in several ways. First, he was uncle to James Stone, Sr. Second, Jim Blair was first married, to Jessamine's sister, Ellen Gilliam, who had died, leaving behind three children: Minnie William (Mary), Jessie O'Neil, and Oscar Blair.
Jessamine and Jim Blair, then, had five children, together: Francis Marion, Nancy Jane (Nannie), John Oliver, Ellen Jessamine (Jessie) and Jason Samson.
Following Jim's death on 28 June 1901, in Graford, Palo Pinto, Texas, Jessamine, who was also known as "Duck" among her large family, eventually followed the migration of her youngest children and settled in Causey, Roosevelt, New Mexico, where she passed away 14 December, 1925. She was 83 years old.
