Martha Jane Walter, 96, of Macon, MO passed away Sunday, December 05, 2010, at the Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon. Martha was born on July 29, 1914, the daughter of Squire William and Minnie (Halley) Perkins. She was united in marriage to Elmer Yeoman on September 28, 1936. She later married Arnold Walter Sr. on December 18, 1952. Both of her husband's proceeded in her in death. Martha was a member of the First Baptist Church in Macon and worked for many years at the Samaritan Memorial Hospital in Macon. She is survived by a brother-in-law, Edgar Green of Osage Beach, MO, and several nieces and nephews. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, three brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 10, 2010, at 11 am, at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon. Burial will be at the Oakwood Cemetery in Macon. Visitation will be held from 10 am until the time of the service. Family suggests memorials to the First Baptist Church in Bevier Building Fund.
