Mark Allen Barton, 45, of Roanoke, while surrounded by his loving family, lost his courageous battle with an acute illness November 22, 2012. He was greeted in heaven by his late father, Rick Barton.
Mark was baptized November 1, 2012. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and racing. Mark loved spending time with his grandchildren four-wheeling and fishing.
Visitation with the family is scheduled 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, November 26, 2012, at Oakey's Vinton. A funeral service will he held 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at Oakey's Vinton Chapel. The Rev. Elizabeth Mortlock will be officiating with interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Family friends are invited to gather at the Barton family home after funeral services to celebrate Mark's life.
