Leo B. Neville, 90, longtime Texas county resident died Wednesday, July 31, 1996 at Memorial Hospital of Texas County.

The son of Ella (Jansen) and Edward L. Neville, he was born June 17, 1906 in Wichita, Kan. He attended Wichita schools and graduated from Wichita Business School. He was united in marriage to Vernita Rose Fowler on July 22, 1931.

He worked for Boeing Aircraft during World War II. The family moved to the Hough community, where he farmed for several years. He retired from Cities Service Oil and Gas after more than 20 years of employment.

After retirement, the Neville's returned to Hough in 1971. His wife of 59 years passed away in 1990. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, a daughter, two sons, two brothers, one sister, one grandson and one granddaughter.

Survivors include two sons, Bernard Neville and his wife, Anita of Guymon and Ira Dean Neville of Englewood, Colo.; four sisters, Pauline Maus, Catherine Dugan, Regina Schauf and Mary Stapelton; three brothers, George Neville, Edward Neville and Cletus Neville; seven grandchildren, Nick Neville and his wife, Jan; Teresa and husband, Rob Davis; Sara and husband, Tom Warren; Richard Neville and wife, Donna; Robert Neville and wife, Linda; Ryan Neville and Zachary Neville; 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Prayer services will be held Friday evening, August 2 at 7 p.m. at the Henson-Novak Funeral Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday morning, August 3 at 10:30 a.m. at St Peters Catholic Church with Father Joe Jacobi officiating.

Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery under the direction of Henson-Novak Funeral Home of Guymon.

A Leo Neville Memorial has been established for the St. Peter's Altar Society or the Dunaway Manor. Memorials will be accepted at Henson-Novak Funeral Directors, Box 1306, Guymon, OK 73942.

Friends may call at the funeral home anytime Friday from 10:30 a.m.-9 p.m.
