JAY ALFRED YOUNG, of Silver Spring, Md., died Thursday, October 13, 2011, in Silver Spring, Md.
He was the beloved husband of Mary Ann (Owens) Treacy-Young and the late Anne Elizabeth (Neff) Young; father of John L. Young C.S.C., Paul R. Young, Cecilia A. Kirkpatrick, P. Michael Young, Joseph A. Young, Therese M. Inverso, Eileen M. Kacmarynski, Cathy Robinson, Michael R. Treacy, Thomas A. Young, John C. Treacy, Lucy D. Crouch, Margaret A. Farmer, M. Antonia Young, James M. Young, Laurence M. Young and the late J. Gregory Young and Bonicia A. Young; brother of Jayne Weber and the late Jack Young; grandfather of 47 and great-grandfather of 27.
Relatives and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at St. John the Baptist Church, 12319 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring, Md., with Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. Private interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carverton, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Church.
