Funeral services for Mrs. C. A. Candell, 92, who died Tuesday at her home at 716 Ferry Street, will be held Friday at 8:30 a.m. at the Golden Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at St. James Church.
The Rev. Francis O'Driscoll, nephew of Mrs. Candell, will be the celebrant of a solemn requiem high mass, with the Rev. Peter Leketas as deacon, and the Rev. John Curtiss as subdeacon. Burial will be in St. Patrick's cemetery.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Leonard Nytro of Superior and Mrs. Walter Ed of Shell Lake [WI]; two sons, William and Nick of this city [Eau Claire, WI], 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Candell was a member of the St. James Rosary Confraternity, which will recite the Rosary Thursday at the funeral home.
