Earl H. McCoy
Earl H. McCoy, 74, died at 8:45 a.m. today at his home, 1320 N. Wapello St.
The son of Albert H. and Clara McCoy, he was born Sept. 2, 1888, at Kirkville. A resident of Ottumwa all of his life, he worked at the Ottumwa Ice Plant and later at Schafer Ice Co. His marriage to Margret Smith took place May 29, 1924 in Ottumwa. She survives.
Mr. McCoy was a member of the Davis Street Christian Church.
Besides his widow, he is survived by a son, Earl W. McCoy of Omaha, Neb.; a daughter, Mrs. Kathlyn Covert of Ottumwa; two grandsons; two great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Lois Hampshire of Ottumwa. The brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
The body is at Reece Funeral Home.

McCoy Funeral
The funeral for Earl H. McCoy, 74, who died Saturday at 8:15 a.m. at his home, 1320 N. Wapello, will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Reece Funeral Home.
Rev. Donald Schmidt of St. Paul Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Ottumwa Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be William Brinegar, Paul Matthew, John Sharp, Harold Leeling, Clifford Ryman and Dr. W.W. Ireland.
