Mahalia White was the daughter of Sam White and Ada (MacHenry) White. Ada's parents were George and Phyllis Howard.

Mahalia married Richard "Dick' Wilder, Sr. (1853-1940). Their children included:

Arthaniel "Precious" Wilder, who married "Docia/Dosha "Aunt Doshie" Strobbles

Richard "Bud" Wilder
Pasco Wilder
James Wilder listed in the 1910 census;

Madora Wilder
Floretta Wilder

Richard Wilder, Sr. was born in Georgia around 1853, according to all FL Census records.The Adams were cousins and founders of the Adamsville Division. Cousin Adams according to family history, donated land for the Adamsville Cemetary. Adams' father was his slave master and owner. After the emancipation, he took the name of Adams, and so began Adamsville."
