Myna Schut, 98, of Sioux Center died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999, at Sioux Center Community Hospital Nursing Facility.
Services were held at First Reformed Church in Sioux Center, with the Rev. Greg Alderman officiating. Burial was in the Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of VanderPloeg Funeral Chapel in Sioux Center.
Mrs. Schut was born June 11, 1901, in Sioux Center, the daughter of Aart and Wilhelmina (Rensink) Schuiteman.
She married Ed P. Schut on Dec. 9, 1926, in Sioux Center he died March 19, 1997.
She was a member of First Reformed Church and Dorcus Circle. She enjoyed tatting and crocheting.
Survivors include two sons and their wives, Ellsworth and Mary Ann and Herlan and Betty, all of Sioux Center; two daughters and their husbands, Marcia and Theron Mulder and Pauline and Tony De Haan, all of Sioux Center, 14 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; and a sister-in-law, Edna Schut of Sioux Center.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, John and Aart Schuiteman; and three sisters, Anna Kruizenga, Minnie David and Grace Ennema.
