Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 12, 2012 at the Jesus Name Apostolic Church for Alice Jane "Janie" Herrin Lott, 64, of Seminary, who passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at her residence.
Brother Randy Sanford will officiate at the services with interment to follow at the Jesus Name Apostolic Church Cemetery. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Justin Byrd, Charles Harrell, David Byrd, Jake Harrell, Josh Dolbear, Cody Jordan, Riggin Lott, David Herrin, and Anthony Harrell. Honorary pallbearers will be Brother Paul Johnson, Brother R.J. Mrs. Lott, a Covington County native, was a homemaker and a member of Jesus Name Apostolic Church in Seminary, where she served as church secretary, and church ladies auxillary worker.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Robert "Bob" Herrin, Jr. and Inez Reid Herrin Rainey ; two brothers, William David Herrin and Randal Hardy Smith, and one sister, Elizabeth Mechelle Herrin Griffin.
Survivors include her husband of thirty eight years, Billy Hank Lott of Seminary; one son, Ernie Lee Harrell Jr. of Seminary; one daughter, Melissa Jane" Missie" Harrell Byrd of Seminary; two brothers, Phillip D. Herrin of Hattiesburg, and Robert Wayne Herrin of Biloxi; two step-brothers, Chris Montgomery and Yancy Montgomery, both of Hattiesburg; six sisters, Bobbie Jo Herrin Harrell of Seminary, Candy Jean Herrin Siglier of Hattiesburg, Theresa Ann Herrin Dolbear of Chunchula, Alabama, Denise Marie Herrin Crocker of Lucedale, Misty Starlene Herrin of Georgia, and Trinnie Lou Herrin of Hattiesburg; seven grandchildren, Justin David Byrd and his wife, Brittany, Mellissa Dannielle Byrd, Karlee Dale Harrell, Mandy E.
