Funeral Services for Mrs. Albert Fredell
The funeral of Mrs. Albert W. Fredell of Waterville was held Saturday morning. Services were held at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Waterville, with the Rev. C. H. Berry, Sr. of Owatonna officiating.
Interment was in Cedar Hill cemetery at Elysian. Members of the Eastern Star Lodge of Waterville conducted a graveside service. Mrs. Fredell was a past matron of that lodge.
Casket bearers were Paul F. Schulz, Frank Dusbabek, H. A. Mahler, Edgar Eggers, James Hruska, all of Waterville, and Lawrence Hancuh of Mankato.
Mrs. Fredell, 45, had been in failing health for the past two and one-half years, and no hope was held for her recovery. She died Wednesday afternoon, July 1st, at her home in Waterville.
Mildred Schneider was born September 3, 1913, the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Schneider, who resided near Lake Charles on the farm north of Elysian now owned by Frank E. Taylor, formerly known as the old Ray place.
She moved to Janesville with her parents and graduated from high school there in 1929. On November 4, 1938 she was married to Albert W. Fredell of Waterville and had since resided in that city. Her husband has been pharmacist at Stucky's drug store for many years.
She is survived by her husband, one daughter and two sons, Damaris, a student nurse at St. Barnabas hospital in Minneapolis; William, a student at Mankato State College; and Timothy at home; her mother, Mrs. Ethel Schneider of Janesille; two sisters, Mrs. Milton (Jean) Guentzel, residing west of Elysian and Mrs. L. H. (Betty) Kahnke of Temple City, Calif.; and two brothers, Donald Schneider of Maroa, Ill., and George Schneider of Corning, Calif.
Her father, Donald R. Schneider, preceded her in death a few years ago.
