"MADISON — Mrs. Clarence (Mary A.) Greiber, age 75, of 2707 Kendall Ave., passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 19, 1980, at Memorial Hospital in Sarasota, Florida. She was born on November 1, 1904, in Madison. The former Mary A. Diebold was married to Clarence L. Greiber on September 5, 1931. Mr. Greiber is retired State Director of Vocational Adult and Technical Education. Mrs. Greiber was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Lady Foresters, and the Catholic Womens Club. Survivors include her husband; a son, Robert J. of Madison; a niece, Virginia Schwenn of Madison; a sister, Elizabeth Wojta of Madison; a brother, Jerome, C. Diebold of Madison; two grandchildren, Bridget Anne and Richard Greiber. She was preceded in death by two infant children, Mary Jane, and Richard Allan Greiber, and a sister, Dorothy Schwenn. Mass will be held at BLESSED SACRAMENT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2131 Rowley Ave. at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 22. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call at The FRAUTSCHI-CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3410 Speedway Rd. after 4 p.m. on Thursday, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Heart Association."
