The Hammon Advocate, Thursday, August 27, 1914, pg 1
In Memoriumí(sic)

Violet Lorena Perrt was born Dec. 5, 1912; died July 27, 1914, was buried at the Red Hill cemetery. Funeral was held at her grandfather's home and then taken to the finial resting place where the last acts of kindness were shown. The service was conducted by her pastor, Rev. T. Y. Hearn.
Bye and bye down the stream where the tide is clearer,
Farther on where the shores are fair;
Are the gracious forms we would fain be nearer,
The name we breathe in the voice of prayer,
Be the voyage long, they will be the dearer,
When after awhile, we shall greet them there.
Farther on where the tide is clearer,
Down the stream where the shores are fair.
Bye and bye when the sun is shining
After awhile when the skies are blue,
When the clouds unfold their silver lining,
And the peaceful isle drift into view,
We shall free our tongues from dull repiaing(sic).
And our hearts with the joys of youth renew.
After awhile when the sun is shining,
Bye and bye when the skies are blue.

Burial Note: Obituary written at the time of her death claims Violet was buried in Red Hill cemetery. Other cemetery list written in later years shows the burial as Kiowa cemetery. Her correct burial location needs to be resolved.
