Elois Woletz, 81, 1523 Hoover Ave., Eau Claire, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 5, 1995.
Elois was born March 13, 1913, to Charles and Emma (Jader) Nelson in Eau Claire. She married Joseph Woletz July 17, 1933. They had been married for 62 years.
Elois helped with the Immaculata Society and was treasurer for the Visually Impaired Person in Eau Claire.
Elois is survived by her husband, Joe; four daughters, Mary Jo (Phil) Anderson of Bonia Springs, Fla., Juday (Don) Peterson of Cody, Wyo., Jean (Tom) Fitzgerald of Grimes, Iowa, Pat Linhoff of Hopkins, Minn.; two sons, Richard and Steven Woletz, both of Eau Claire; 22 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at noon Thursday, March 9, at Immaculate Conception Church with Father Eugene Klink officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Fuller Funeral Home where there will be a 6 p.m. Prayer Service.
Elois will be greatly missed by her husband and family as the coffee pot was always on in her kitchen. Her family and a wide circle of friends enjoyed her easy company and good cooking.
Elois loved her bridge games, friends and travel. She was always willing to help wherever she could.
