Mrs. Alexander was pronounced dead on arrival at Fulton Hospital at 5 p.m.
Mrs. Alexander's daughter-in-law, Mrs. Duncan Alexander, said that the elder Mrs. Alexander became ill as they were driving home.
Survivors include two sons; Gus Alexander, Jr., Dixon, Tennessee and Duncan Alexander, Water Valley, Kentucky and a granddaughter; Mrs. Ronnie Hutchinson, Sumpter, South Carolina.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 11 at the Bayou de Chein Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Services were officiated by the Reverend L. E. Moore and the Reverend Martin Rudolph. Burial took place at the Wingo Cemetery, Wingo, Kentucky
