Alma Lucille Smith, 89, of Chanute, Kansas, died Friday, Dec. 10, 2004, at Heritage Health Care Center, Chanute, Kansas.
She was born March 5, 1915, at Fredonia, Kansas, the daughter of Robert Fox and Etta (Stroud) Cantrall.
She married Wayne Smith in 1940. They later divorced.
She was a bookkeeper for Montgomery Ward for 39 years.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Chanute, and the "Today's Concern" church group.
Survivors include one daughter, Kristy Boaz, Chanute, KS; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; and a nephew and a niece.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Howard, Thomas, and Raymond; and one sister, Lois Perry.
Graveside services will be Dec. 14, 2004, at the Fredonia City Cemetery, Fredonia, Kansas, led by the Rev. Larry Myers of First United Methodist Church.
Memorials suggested to SEK Area Agency on Aging may be sent to the funeral home.
