Obituary: Kelowna Newspaper Deaths: Barker: - Alma Irene of 1450 Sutherland Ave., passed away on June 7th, 1970 at the age of 68 years. Funeral services will be held from The Garden Chapel, 1134 Bernard Ave., on Thursday, June 11th at 2:00 p.m., the Rev. E. S. Fleming officiating. Interment will follow in the Kelowna cemetery. Mrs. Barker is survived by three sons, Lealand, Leonard, and Robert all in California; one sister Mrs. Harry Nix and one brother Robert both of Edmonton. Numerous nephews and nieces also survive. The family requests no flowers please. Those wishing, may make donations to the Shriners' Crippled Children Fund. The Garden Chapel Funeral Directors have been entrusted with the arrangements.
