GIST, JOHN A.--Last rites for Mr. Gist, 61, of 1110 Tulare street, who died yesterday at his home, will be conducted at the Hopson mortuary at 1:30 p. m. tomorrow. Interment will be at the Union cemetery, and fellow workers at the King Lumber Company, where Mr. Gist was employed as yard foreman, will be pallbearers. Mr. Gist, who had resided in Bakersfield for 23 years, was a native of California, having been born in Santa Ana September 11, 1880. He resided within the state during his lifetime. Surviving are his widow, Lillie L. Gist, and his mother, Mrs. Julia Gist.
