Marriage to Lowell Eugene Fields on March 17, 1950 from this union of marriage 8 children were born. Four daughters and four sons. Lowell's parents were Charles A Fields 1876-1948 and Edith Pearl Stringfield Fields 1882- 1953 both also from Sangamon County, Il. Lowell Eugene Fields buried at Camp Butler Cemetery with third wife.
Norma was preceded in death by one brother and her three children :

*Anna Louise Fields 1953-1953, died 5 days old and buried at Wolfe Creek Cemetery.
*Terry Lee Fields 1961-2005 buried at Roselawn Memorial Park
*Barry Eugene Fields 1954-2006 buried at Roselawn Memorial Park. Both sons are buried next to her.
Graduate from Tri-City High School and Illinois Business College. Norma retired from Franklin Life Insurance after twenty-seven years. She was a member of Buffalo Christian Church enjoyed singing in the choir and at nursing homes. After retirement made several mission trips to Haiti, Mexico, Alaska and New Mexico. Norma loved music, puzzles, sports, fishing, bicycling, and taking pictures of the family.
