Allen was the son of Allen Edward and Vira Anne (Rodgers) Kivett. He was never married.

Allen Wyke Kivett, 25, of 1316 Clover Lane died Sept. 17, 1992, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at West Market Street United Methodist Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be in Westminster Gardens.

A native of Greensboro, he was a graduate of Page High School, the crew chief for Brinsfield Motor Sports, an Eagle Scout and service manager for Brinsfield Imports.

Surviving are parents, Allen and Vira Kivett of the home; sister, Miss Martitia "Marty" Kivett of Greensboro; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary Katherine Rodgers of High Point; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Sulon B. Kivett of Asheboro; fiancee, Miss Lisa Fossett of Greensboro.

The family will be at Hanes-Lineberry North Elm Street Funeral Home 7-9 tonight.

Memorial contributions may be made to Children's Home Society of North Carolina, 740 Chestnut St., Greensboro, N.C. 27401, or to the Old North State Council of the Boy Scouts of America, 1405 Westover Terrace, Greensboro, N.C. 27408.
