In the 1940s, he began his career in USA. He appeared in "Sergeant York" (1940), "Without Love" (1945), "The World in His Arms" (1952), "From the Earth to the Moon" (1958) and "Thunder in the Sun" (1959). Also he played in TV series such as "McMillan and Wife" or "Maverick." Also, on the anthology series Lux Video Theatre he played the resistance worker Victor Laszlo in a production of Casablanca (1955).
