Bernice Mae Brock, 87, passed away peacefully in the comfort of family on April 30, 2012. Born on October 6, 1924 in Whittier, California to the parents of Cecil and Roy Walker. She married Glenn Claypool in 1940 and had two daughters. Glenn passed away in 1955. Later, in 1961, she married Robert Brock and they celebrated 51 years of marriage. After retirement in June 1988, they moved from Lakewood, California, to Roseville. Bernice is survived by her husband Robert Brock, her daughters Judy and Janet, son-in-law Steve, step-children, brothers Harold, Ralph, and Ray, sister Ethel, 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. Her parents, sister, and one grandchild preceded her in death. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Mercy Hospice, 9912 Business Park Drive, Suite 100, Sacramento, CA 95827.

Visitation will be Monday, May 7th, from 4-7 PM, at Lambert Funeral Home, 400 Douglas Blvd., Roseville, CA 95678. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 2nd, 10 AM, at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Ln., Fair Oaks, CA 95628.
