Mrs. Josephine Ellis Towry Buried Here On Monday --
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2:30 at the Fayetteville Church of Christ for Mrs. Josephine Ellis Towry, 84, by I. C. Pullias, O. S. Lanham, and R. A. Largen. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery.
Mrs. Towry died Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. O. McKinney, on East College Street, after a long illness.
Wife of the late H. E. Towry, she was a daughter of the late Manzer and Nancy Oldham Ellis. She was born and reared in Lincoln County and was a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to her daughter, Mrs. McKinney, she is survived by one son, Ellis Towry, and five grandchildren.
