Mr. Foster was born January 22, 1940 in Ocilla, GA to the late Chester E. and Rebecca Walker Foster.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Vietnam War Era.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Doug Foster and an infant brother and brother-in-law Buddy Singletary.
