Connie S. Robertson was born on May 16, 1955 to Wallace and Rena Steven in Ridge, Louisiana. She was baptized at Morning Star Christ Sanctified Holy Church in Ridge, Louisiana and later was baptized Catholic at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Lafayette, Louisiana. She met and fell in love with Carl Joseph Robertson, Sr. and was united in Holy Matrimony on August 18, 1979. To this union was born a wonderful son, Carl Joseph, Jr.
Connie worked as a Teacher Assistant in Special Education with the Lafayette Parish School System for thirty-seven years, until retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Rena Steven; two brothers, Thomas and Robert "Bob" Steven; niece, Michelle Steven; great niece, Brianna D. Onezine; two nephews, Devin "DJ" Reed and Donald "Junior" Joseph Mitchell, Jr.; two brothers-in-law, Garland Reed and James "Butch" Trahan.
