Mrs. Sylvester Hurlburt
Rebecca Ingraham, wife of Sylvester Hurlburt died of pneumonia Sunday evening on the Virginia Road, age 75 years. She was the daughter of Orange Ingraham and was born in this town April 12, 1835. Her marriage to Mr. Hurlburt occured in 1860.
Mrs. Hurlburt is survived by her husband, three sons, James O. of Oxford, Frederick of North Guilford, and Bert of Mt. Upton; three sisters, Mrs. Andrew Root and Mrs. Charlotte Lawton of Norwich, and Mrs. William van Tassell and a brother, Job Ingraham, of this town.
The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, Rev. R.A. Gates officiating. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery.
