Most of Mary Krouse's adult life was spent in Marion County where she received her schooling and raised her children and stepchildren as one family.
Two infant children born to Mrs. Krouse and her first husband died in infancy.
Survivors include her daughters , Mrs. James Kissinger of Melcher; Mrs. F.W. Mason of Hammond, Ind.; Mrs. Ray Woody of Knoxville, Mrs. D.F. Kendrick of Pleasantville, Mrs. Dale Vander Pol of Pella, her son Walter Pearson of Knoxville, her step-children, Mrs. Bert Vande Kieft of Pella, John Krouse of Bussey, Ira Krouse of Milan, Illinois, a n d Edward Krouse of Marshalltown, 20 grandchildren, 16 step grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Services were held at Bybee and Davis Funeral Home with Rev. John Giesbrecht officiating.
Interment in the family lot at Tracy.
