Bryant Brinton, Jr. was the son of Jane (Burns) and Bryant Brinton, Sr. of Lincoln County, VA now Kentucky. He was born in 1785 in Barren County, Kentucky. His father is the immigrant ancestor, moving across the Atlantic to America and then to Virginia, and finally settling in Kentucky. His mother, Jane was born in Virginia. The marriage record of Bryant and Jane Burns has not been found, but believe will be found in Virginia

Mary Tharp was the daughter of Perry Tharp and Margaret Shuck Tharp and is buried in the New Providence Cemetery along with a few of her her children.
