Mr. CLARENCE HOWARD ARVIN, 84, of Garretts Mill Road, Knoxville, died Friday, July 26, at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Mount Airy, where he had been a resident. Born Feb. 12, 1907 in Brunswick, he was a son of the late William and Anna Kidwiler Arvin.

He was a retired brakeman with the B&O Railroad in Brunswick and a member of Faith Assembly of God Church, Knoxville.

He is survived by a daughter, Mollie May of Frederick; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Howard Arvin.

Funeral services were held at the John T. Williams Funeral Home, Brunswick; interment was in Park Heights Cemetery, Brunswick.
