Patsy E. Dorsey, 71, of Roanoke, IN, died Wednesday Nov. 21, 2012, at 1:08 a.m. at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Dorsey was a cashier at Hook's Drug Store from 1979 to 1993, and was a member of Roanoke Brethren Church.
She was born May 10, 1941, in Levels, WV, to Roscoe L. and Josephine I. Judy McBride. She married Carl F. Dorsey on March 4, 1959, in Cumberland, MD, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 17, 2005.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol A. (Robert) Raines and Linda C. (Tom) Bogner, both of Roanoke; two sisters, Shirley (Forest) Alt, of Forest, VA, and Robin (Robert) Marande, of Bloomsburg, PA; two brothers, Roscoe (Kaye) McBride, and Steve (Janice) McBride, both of Winchester, VA; four grandchildren, Courtney Dorsey, Brandon Clapper, Brian Bogner and Austin Clapper; and two great-grandchildren.
Calling is Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Roanoke Memorial Chapel of Deal-Rice Funeral Homes, 240 Crestwood Drive, Roanoke, prior to the 11a.m. funeral service with Rev. Ron Burns officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.
