BEULAVILLE - Milton "Gene" Norris, age 73, died Wednesday, May 19, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob Jim and Tessie Norris; and brothers, Norwood, Jimmy, Glenn, and Freddie Norris. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2011, at Serenity Funeral Home, Beulaville. Burial will follow in the Albertson Family Cemetery. Mr. Norris is survived by his wife, Judith Sanderson Norris of Beulaville; daughter Regina N. Smith and husband Nolan, of Beulaville; two sons, Terry Gene Norris and wife Judy, of Beulaville, and Doug Norris of Beulaville; sister Geraldine R. Rhodes of Beulaville; two brothers, Allen Ward Norris and Barbara Hamilton of Kinston, and Jackie Ray Norris of Beulaville; sister-in-law Janice Norris of Kinston; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Beulaville Original Free Will Baptist Church, 149 Lyman Road, Beulaville, N.C. 28518. Arrangements are by Serenity Funeral Home, Beulaville.
