Kate was the 8th child born to Henry H Harmon (1828-1911)and Mary Elizabeth Medley (1835-1878).

Siblings: James M (1858-1866), Mary Jane (1859-1951), Sarah W (1860-?), John W (1862-1920), Martha Alice (1866-?), Clara Dean (1869-1934), Willie L (1873-?), Lillie B (1874->) Ethel May (1877-1958).

Kate married Charles Meek Grinstead (1867-1953) about 1888. (I am still looking for the correct date). They had one child, Lola Katherine Grinstead (1889-1977).

Kate was a homemaker and helped raise her many grandchildren.
