Sister and brother buried here; reported to be Morman. This area is on DNR land behind the old school. One 10' obelisk in woods owned by the D.N.R. marking two graves. Site is unfenced and area is very overgrown. No legal description found in deed. Tops of ridges in area are cultivated. No mention found in any deeds.

Passed to the spirit life, at Fayette, Feb. 1st, 1883, Miss Sarah Leach, aged 22 years. After a long and painful sickness, her spirit having laid aside its mortal body passed on to the incorruptible glories of the higher life. A wide circle of friends in this world will mourn her departure, but her spirit, free from its earthly thraldom, rejoices in the land of light, and is not far away from them. She was one of those genial persons whom everyone respects and her memory will be sustained in the hearts of all who knew her.
