She was born in Baldwin County, Ala. She had lived in Palatka for many years before moving to Jacksonville eight months ago. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Palatka where she had taught Sunday School for more than 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hyatt Bard Gale, and a daughter, Etta Sharon Gale.
She is survived by a brother, Howard White of Mesa, Ariz.; a sister, Lois Long of Mesa, Ariz.; numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Oak Hill East Cemetery in Palatka with Rev. Charles T. Rabun Jr. officiating. No calling hours are scheduled.
