Nancy Harris Justice, 92, of Russell, widow of Jack Justice, passed away Tuesday evening, January 24, 2023, at Community Hospice Care Center following a brief illness.
Nancy was born June 11, 1930, in Wurtland, Kentucky to the late Will and Sallie Worthington Harris.
She was a former Clerk with C&O Railroad, a homemaker, and a longtime member of Bridges Christian Church. Nancy loved doing crafts including needle point, cross stitching, and making quilts. She was also an avid gardener and enjoyed growing flowers.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Justice in 2016; five brothers, John Harris, Thurman Harris, Bill Harris, Hubert "Ike" Harris, and Louis Harris and two sister Louella Williams and, Evelyn Williams.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Nancy Karen Justice of Russell, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be conducted 1:30 Monday, January 30, 2023, at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 to 1:00 at Caniff Funeral Home in Westwood.
