Emile J. "Buck" VanCloostere, 92, of Murphysboro, Ill., died on Wednesday, October 20, 1999 at Rehab & Care Center of Jackson County, Murphysboro.
He was born April 4, 1907, in Murphysboro to Emile J. and Minnie (Young) VanCloostere. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister -- Ed, Tony, Clarence and Rosa VanCloostere.
He married Margaret Daum on June 11, 1935, in DuQuoin, Ill. She passed away on April 28, 1981. The couple have two daughters -- Patricia Krawcyzk and Marceil Steele; four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Mr. VanCloostere was a farmer. He also worked for the Dr. Pepper Bottling Company and at the former B & K Furniture Store delivering furniture.
