Daughter of William A. and Beatrice Wiley. She was born in Lansing and came to Ludington with a friend when she was 18. She worked as a telephone operator upon arriving here. It was through this and friends where she met her future husband. She married Kenneth C. Wheaton on December 1st 1956 and he proceeded her in death just 89 days prior to her own passing. Together they had 5 children. She worked in several stores and eventually worked at Strait Steel and wire until her retirement though she came back out of retirement and worked at Meijer for a little while. Her and Ken spent a lot of time on drives in the country and taking photos.
She leaves behind 5 children, 11 Grandchildren and at the time of her death, 9 Great Grandchildren.
She passed away in her sleep at Tendercare following a few health issues
