Anita "Boots" Sampson Rogers, 71, of Lynn Haven, Fla., passed away Oct. 9, 2012, at her home.

She was born April 5, 1941, in Greenville. Anita was retired from Jim Wilson Insurance Agency where she was the office manager and an agent. Anita was a member of Central Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Iris and Iola Sampson, and two brothers, Billy Clayton Sampson and Von Ray Sampson.

She is survived by her husband, Danny Rogers; four siblings, Margaret Wood, Jeannie England (Rick), Sonny Sampson, and Carroll Sampson (Brenda); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Wilson Funeral Home chapel. 214 Airport Road, in Panama City, Fla. (32405, 850-785-5272) with Dr. Bruce Barton officiating. Interment will follow in Lynn Haven Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4001 W. 23rd Street, Suite C, Panama City, Fla.. 32405 or to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, Ill. 60601 in memory of Anita Rogers.
