Margaret Arnold

A funeral service for Margaret Arnold, age 82, of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 24, 2012, with Rev. Thomas Bedingfield officiating. Interment will follow at Emblem Cemetery, with Lance Carter, Christopher Johnson, Derek Lemaster, Donald Green, Don Horne and Joffery Joudah serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Jackson, J. D. Holder and Sammy Johnson. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 23, 2012 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Margaret Arnold passed away Wednesday morning, November 21, 2012 at Free State Crestwood in Wills Point, TX.

She was born in Gainsville on January 8, 1930, the daughter of Charles Edgar Jackson and Opal Lois (Holder) Jackson. She married Roy T. Arnold in Sulphur Springs on July 4, 1950. He preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker and a member of Emblem Methodist Church.

Survivors include: brother, Billy Jackson and wife, Bettye, of Brashear; children, Marilyn Carter of Terrell, Evelyn Lemaster-Horne of Sulphur Springs, Melba and husband, Sammy Johnson of Winfield; grandchildren, Lance Carter and wife, Amanda of Garland, Stacy Green and husband, Donald, of Lewisville, Derek and Melissa Lemaster of Carrollton, Alisa Lemaster of Fort Worth, Nicole Joudah and husband, Joffrey, of New Braunfels, Natalie Korsmo and husband, Michael, of Weaver and Christopher Johnson of Winfield; 12 great-grandchildren; former son-in-law, Don Horne, of Sulphur Springs, nephews & niece Gregory Mahan & Terri Ann Mahan-Leonard of Chino Valley, Arizona and Robert Jackson-Owen of Las Vegas, Nevada.
