Funeral service for Mrs. Georgia Benton Morris, 81, will be Friday November 23, 2012 at Curtis and Son North Chapel at 11AM with the Rev. Matt Lite officiating. Burial will be at Talladega Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Morris passed away November 20, 2012 at Russell Medical Center. She started a career as a nurse because of her love and concern of other people. She dedicated her life as one of Jehovah's Witnesses to show her love and concern to others of not only their physical health but more important to her their spiritual health, encouraging others to share her love of the Almighty God Jehovah and to honor His name. She is survived by husband of 60 years Daniel Brown Morris, of Fayetteville; Daughter, Sonya Samuels (Paul) of Fayetteville; Sons, Daniel Paul Morris (Melissa) of Phoenix, AZ, Christopher Benjamin Morris (Tracey) of Durango, CO; Sisters, Lou Baker of Clanton, Verbie Blankenship of Alexander City; Brothers, David Sallas of Rockford, Lee Sallas of Rockford; Grandchildren, Jeremy Samuels, Johnathan Samuels, Jerod Samuels, Danielle Morris; Great Grandchildren' Will Samuels, Zoe Samuels, Logan Samuels, Gage Samuels, Several Nieces and Nephews. Visitation will be Friday November 23, 2012 at Curtis and Son North Chapel from 10-11AM.
