Noble, Vera Charlotte - 81, Torbrook Mines, died October 9, 1999, in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, P.E.I. Born in Wolfville, she was a daughter of the late T. Reuben and Winifred (Longley) Wallace. She was a member of the Torbrook Mines United Church where she was the organist, choir director and Sunday School youth leader. She was a member of the Hospital Auxiliary and Women's Institute. She took a great interest in all community affairs. Surviving are daughters, Sally (Jeff) Rogers, Torbrook Mines; Joy, York, P.E.I.; Shari (Allan) Wentworth, Liverpool; sons, Malcolm (Anne), Elmsdale; Ted (Diane), Harrietsfield; Richard (Betty), Lower Sackville; Homer, Liverpool; Brian (Liz), Yarmouth; great nephew, Phillip, Kingston; 18 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Homer; sisters, Marion, Sara, Helen; brothers, Malcolm, Avard, Walter. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Warren T. Roop Funeral Home, Middleton. Funeral 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, in the Torbrook Mines United Church, Rev. Lisa Potter officiating. Family flowers only. Donations to the Torbrook-Meadowvale Health Services Auxiliary or the Torbrook Mines United Church Memorial Fund. Donations may be made through the Warren T.
